Audemars Piguet
Founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux, by Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet, the manufacture has remained in the hands of the founding families. Its Royal Oak, designed by Gérald Genta and unveiled in 1972, raised the steel sports watch to the rank of fine watchmaking.
