Audemars Piguet
Fondée en 1875 au Brassus, dans la vallée de Joux, par Jules Louis Audemars et Edward Auguste Piguet, la manufacture est restée entre les mains des familles fondatrices. Audemars Piguet is a Swiss watchmaking manufacture founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux. Still owned by the founding families, it is one of the oldest independent manufactures. In 1972, the Royal Oak designed by Gérald Genta revolutionised the industry with the first high-priced steel "sport chic" watch, creating a new watchmaking category.
