The Monogram House

MONOGRAM (SAS) is a Parisian luxury consignment and outright purchase house for pre-owned pieces: leather goods, watches, and jewellery. We act as an agent — a transparent intermediary — between the consignor and the buyer: the piece remains the property of the consignor until sold, and we handle the appraisal, authentication, photography, online listing, customer relations, secure payment, insured shipping, and then payment to the consignor. Each transaction is documented by a consignment mandate and a nominative invoice.
Our pieces are predominantly pre-owned, selected for their condition and desirability. We use four levels: new, never worn (with original accessories), excellent condition (minimal signs of use), good condition (visible patina or micro-scratches), and fair condition (marked use, noted and photographed). The actual condition is stated on each product page, accompanied by unretouched photographs of the exact piece you will receive.
Yes. Each listing corresponds to a unique piece available in a single copy: there is no stock, no restock, and no hidden size variation. This is why a piece added to the basket can be purchased by another client before the order is finalised. Once sold, it remains visible with the mention “Sold” to document our catalogue and serve as a price reference.
Our house is Parisian. Pieces are expertly appraised and stored in our secure premises in France. Physical appointments are by request only and subject to prior validation by Monogram, particularly for high-value watches and jewellery.
By email at contact@monogramparis.com, via the contact form, or directly from the website using the online messaging service accessible on every page, which also allows you to request a call-back. Monogram responds Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, usually within a few working hours.

Authentication & condition

Each piece follows the same protocol: documentary control (invoice, certificate, warranty card), physical examination by our specialists (materials, stitching, hot stamps, hardware, serial numbers, engravings, hallmarks), then certification via Entrupy, the global standard for AI-powered authentication for leather goods. A certificate of authenticity accompanies every purchase and remains accessible from your client account.
Our in-house experts, specialised by category: leather goods (Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior…), watches (Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piguet…) and jewellery. In case of doubt about a rare or very old piece, we seek a second independent opinion before any sale.
The piece is immediately withdrawn from sale and is never published or dispatched. It is returned to the consignor, or retained when required by law. Any attempt at fraudulent consignment may be reported to the competent authorities, in accordance with our consignment terms accepted upon signing the mandate.
Yes, systematically and without compromise: micro-scratches, patina, signs of use, scuffed corners, hardware oxidation, odour, interior stains, missing links or polishing marks are described in the listing and photographed in close-up. Our principle is simple: no unpleasant surprises upon receipt.
Where they exist, the box, original invoice, certificate, warranty card, extra links, padlock, clochettes, or case are mentioned on the product listing. For leather goods, the presence of the dust bag is specified; this does not apply to watches or jewellery. The absence of an accessory is always indicated and reflected in the price.
Yes. Leather goods are certified by Entrupy, the global standard for AI-powered authentication, and Entrupy guarantees this authentication for one year from the date of purchase. Specifically, if a certified piece is found to be non-authentic during this one-year period, the Entrupy warranty applies: the piece is taken back and fully refunded. The Entrupy certificate, provided with your order and accessible in your client account, serves as proof. However, as these are pre-owned items belonging to individuals, no manufacturer's warranty is provided on mechanical operation beyond the elements indicated in the product listing.
Monogram, always. No piece is ever dispatched directly from one individual to another. For consignment, the consignor sends us the piece once the sale is concluded, with the prepaid and insured shipping label we provide (Colissimo or DHL). We receive it at our Parisian premises, authenticate it, verify its conformity point by point with the advertised information, and then we — and we alone — dispatch it to the buyer, under our responsibility and with insured shipping. This mandatory passage through our workshops precisely guarantees that you will never receive a piece that we have not physically held in our hands.
Two things, without reservation. Firstly, authenticity: the piece is authentic, inspected by our experts and, for leather goods, certified by Entrupy — authentication guaranteed by Entrupy for one year from purchase; the certificate accompanies the delivery. Secondly, conformity: the piece received corresponds exactly to the characteristics provided by the consignor and published on the listing — brand, model, reference, size and dimensions, material, colour, year or date code, serial number, actual condition, reported defects, and included accessories. If a discrepancy appears between the piece and the advertisement during our check, the sale would not proceed as is: we will notify you, and you can choose to maintain the purchase with a price adjustment or cancel and receive a full refund.
It is never sent to the buyer as is. Upon receipt, we compare the piece to the consignor's declarations: authenticity, reference, size, material, colour, condition, accessories. In case of discrepancy — unreported defect, missing accessory, overvalued condition, different model — the sale is suspended. The buyer is immediately informed and has the choice: maintain the acquisition with a negotiated commercial gesture, or cancel and be fully refunded, without charge. The non-compliant piece is returned to the consignor, and their payment is not triggered.
Yes. Monogram can provide you with additional photos (specific angles, interior, hallmarks, serial number, wear area), a video of the piece, or even organise a video conference presentation for high-value items. Simply make a request from the product listing or at contact@monogramparis.com.

Buy

Credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer. Payment in 3x or 4x via Alma is offered for up to €5,000; beyond this, only card and bank transfer are available. All transactions are encrypted and processed by certified providers: no bank data is stored on our servers.
Yes. A 10% deposit reserves a piece and immediately removes it from sale, allowing you time to finalise your acquisition (bank transfer, funds release, a relative's advice). The piece is then marked "Reserved" on the site. The balance is settled according to the timeframe agreed with Monogram; the deposit is deducted from the final price.
Timepieces and jewellery valued over approximately €8,500 (USD 10,000) cannot be paid for online due to compliance reasons imposed by our payment provider. Monogram will assist you throughout the transaction: detailed presentation of the piece, secure bank transfer, identity verification (AML/CFT obligations) and insured delivery with signature, or hand-delivery by appointment.
Yes. From the product page, the "Propose a price" button allows you to submit an offer. It is forwarded to the consignor, who can accept, refuse, or make a counter-offer; you will receive the response by e-mail. Offers do not expire and remain accessible in your client area. An accepted offer gives you priority on the piece.
If the piece you are looking for is not available, enter your criteria (brand, model, size, colour, material, budget) via the personalised search. We will alert you by e-mail as soon as a corresponding piece enters the catalogue, and Monogram also activates its network of consignors to source it. This service is free and without obligation.
An online messaging service is available on each product page: ask your questions about condition, dimensions, material, availability, lead times or delivery. Monogram will answer you, forward the request to an expert if necessary, can send you additional photos or videos, and arrange a phone call. If you are logged in, your order and offer history is already linked to the conversation.
The search tolerates spelling mistakes and variations ("birkin 25", "Birkins", "rollex"). You can combine brand, model, size, and colour in a single query. The filters on the 'Shop' page then allow you to refine by category, price, and condition. Pieces already sold are automatically excluded from results and suggestions.
Yes, but they are clearly identified as "Sold", listed at the end of the list and excluded from search results and suggestions. Pieces sold through another channel are marked "Sold elsewhere". This history helps you gauge market prices; if a sold model interests you, use the personalised search to be alerted about the next one.

Delivery

Monogram works with two carriers: Colissimo and DHL. Colissimo is used for France and a large part of the European Union, with delivery against signature and detailed tracking. DHL is used for express shipments, destinations outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom, Monaco) and high-value pieces, for its enhanced traceability and short delivery times. The choice of carrier is made by Monogram based on the value of the piece, the destination, and the chosen delivery option; it applies both to shipment to the buyer and to the prepaid shipping labels we send to consignors. In all cases, the shipment is insured up to the declared value and delivered against signature.
Allow 10 to 14 days after order validation for a consignment piece, with insured and tracked shipping. The detail: D0, payment collection and order confirmation; D0-D1, sending of the prepaid Colissimo or DHL label to the consignor; D1-D4, transit of the piece to our Parisian premises; D4-D8, reception, authentication, conformity check and control photographs; D8-D9, preparation, neutral packaging and document printing; D9-D14, Colissimo or DHL shipment and delivery against signature. For a piece already in our premises, the lead time drops to 2 to 4 days standard, and 24-48 hours with the DHL Express option. For international shipments, allow 1 to 3 additional days for customs formalities.
France — standard 10-14 days (Colissimo): free from €1,000 purchase. Express 24-48 hours (DHL): €100. European Union: €65. Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Monaco (DHL): €75. Exact fees are displayed before payment, with no surprises at checkout. No fees are charged to the consignor: the shipping label for their piece to our premises is always prepaid by Monogram, as is reshipment to the buyer.
Yes. Every shipment, inbound and outbound, is insured up to the declared value of the item to the carrier, at the maximum level available from Colissimo or DHL depending on the amount. Delivery against signature is mandatory; tracking can be viewed in real-time from your client area. Pieces travel in neutral and careful packaging, with no mention of brand or value on the outside. Important point: Monogram prepares and ships the parcel, never the consignor directly. We therefore know exactly what is being sent, which secures the buyer on what they receive and protects the seller from any bad faith dispute. In case of damage or loss during transit, Monogram handles the claim with the carrier: neither the buyer nor the consignor has any steps to take.
Simply and cleanly. We reshape the piece as much as possible, with a light cleaning, then we protect it in its dust bag for leather goods, or in its case for jewellery and watches, before securing it in a neutral box. The parcel contains the piece, its original accessories listed on the product page, the named invoice and the certificate of authenticity where applicable. We do not go as far as complex sealing devices, but since we are the ones who package and ship, we are certain of the contents of the parcel: the buyer receives exactly the piece inspected by our teams, and the seller is protected against any unfounded claim.
Your client area displays each stage: order confirmed, in preparation, dispatched with clickable Colissimo or DHL tracking number, then delivered. An automatic e-mail informs you of every status change. If you are absent when the parcel is presented, a delivery notice allows you to arrange a new delivery or collection at a drop-off point; the parcel is kept for a few working days before being returned to the sender. If the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange a new shipment at no extra charge.
Yes, to a certain extent. Once the parcel has been dispatched, Colissimo and DHL allow you to reschedule delivery, redirect it to a collection point or agency, or put it on hold during an absence, all from their tracking interface. Please note: for high-value pieces, delivery against signature to a named address remains mandatory, and redirection to a collection point may be blocked by us. A professional address is accepted if the recipient's name is specified.
Yes, we are able to deliver worldwide. The European Union, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Monaco are served as standard via Colissimo or DHL, depending on the destination. For all other destinations, shipping is organised on a case-by-case basis: please email us at contact@monogramparis.com and we will assess the most suitable solution together, considering the piece's value, insurability of the journey, delivery times, and customs constraints. For high-value jewellery, watch, and handbag pieces, we generally prioritise hand delivery, both in France and abroad, to fully secure the transaction. Certain materials (exotic leathers, ivory, coral) are subject to CITES regulations and cannot cross all borders; we will inform you of this before any order.
For deliveries outside the European Union (notably Switzerland and the United Kingdom), import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, in accordance with local regulations; DHL sometimes advances these and re-invoices them upon delivery. Monogram will provide you with an estimate before dispatch. The parcel travels with a detailed commercial invoice, a customs declaration stating the nature, material, and value of the item, and, for watches and jewellery, the serial number or identifying characteristics. Refusing to pay the duties will result in the return of the parcel, with the costs remaining the responsibility of the recipient.
Please notify us at contact@monogramparis.com. Monogram will immediately open an inquiry with Colissimo or DHL and keep you informed of its progress. A simple delay is usually resolved within a few business days. In the event of a confirmed loss, the insurance covers the full value: you are fully reimbursed, and the consignor is paid — the transport risk never falls on private individuals. If the parcel arrives visibly damaged or open, make precise reservations with the delivery driver, photograph the packaging before opening, and contact us within 48 hours.
Yes, by appointment validated by Monogram, especially for high-value pieces. An ID matching the name on the order is required upon collection, and a handover report is signed. This collection method is free of charge and often preferred for watches and jewellery over 8,500 €.

Shipping flow, step by step

Étape 1 — Order and Payment (Day 0): you pay online (card, PayPal, bank transfer, or Alma up to 5 000 €); you immediately receive order confirmation and a nominative invoice. Étape 2 — Consignor Notification (Day 0 to Day 1): we confirm the sale to the consignor and send them a pre-paid and insured shipping label via email (Colissimo or DHL). Étape 3 — Consignor Shipment to Monogram (Day 1 to Day 4): the consignor drops off the parcel, with all original accessories; tracking is monitored by our teams. Étape 4 — Receipt and Authentication (Day 4 to Day 8): documentary control, physical examination by our experts, Entrupy certification for leather goods, point-by-point compliance check (model, reference, size, material, colour, serial number, condition, accessories), and control photographs. Étape 5 — Reshipment to You (Day 8 to Day 14): Monogram ships, insured up to the value, in neutral packaging and requiring a signature upon delivery. You receive the tracking number by email and in your client area. Étape 6 — Delivery and Documents: the piece reaches you accompanied by its certificate of authenticity and invoice. Étape 7 — Consignor Payment: bank transfer initiated within 72 hours of authentication validation. Overall lead time: 10 to 14 days.
The process is shortened because the consignor's shipping and authentication steps have already been completed. Step 1 — Order and payment (D0). Step 2 — Preparation and final check (D0 to D1): final condition verification, light cleaning, secure packaging, certificate and invoice issuance. Step 3 — Dispatch (D1): insured and tracked shipping; an Express 24-48 hour option for 100 € is available for these pieces, as they are physically with us. Step 4 — Delivery against signature (D2 to D4 as standard). Documents provided: named invoice, certificate of authenticity, carrier delivery note.
Étape 1 — Case Submission: you provide the brand, model, size, colour, material, condition and accessories, and submit your photos. Document: electronically signed consignment mandate. Étape 2 — Review and Listing (24 to 72 hours): validation of the piece's eligibility against our selection criteria (Monogram may refuse a piece that does not meet its standards), photo retouching, description writing, publication on monogramparis.com, our partner channels and potentially our social networks. The piece remains with you. Étape 3 — Sale: the piece is only declared sold once the buyer's funds have been collected and the transaction secured. Étape 4 — Shipping Label (Day 0 of sale): we send you a pre-paid and insured Colissimo or DHL label via email — you incur no costs. Étape 5 — Your Shipment (within 48 to 72 hours): neutral and rigid packaging with all accessories, parcel drop-off, retention of proof of deposit. Étape 6 — Receipt and Authentication at Our Premises (2 to 4 working days): authenticity and conformity to your declaration. Étape 7 — Payment: bank transfer within 72 hours of validation. Documents: consignment mandate, shipping label, sales summary detailing selling price, commission according to your card (30 % without subscription, 25 % Carte Blanche, 22 % Carte Or, 15 % Carte Noire) and net amount received. Étape 8 — Reshipment to the buyer by Monogram, under our responsibility.
Étape 0 — Eligibility: outright purchase is not systematic. If the piece is not suitable, we will only send you a consignment proposal; and if it does not meet our publication criteria (condition, authenticity, desirability), we may refuse the case. Étape 1 — Valuation Offer: after reviewing your photos and information, Monogram will send you an outright purchase price, valid with no expiry date. Étape 2 — Acceptance: signature of the assignment agreement. Étape 3 — Pre-paid and Insured Label (Colissimo or DHL) sent the same day or the next; you incur no costs. Étape 4 — Shipping and Receipt (1 to 4 days). Étape 5 — Authentication and Compliance Check (1 to 3 working days): if the piece matches your description, the offer is confirmed as is; in case of discrepancy, we will submit a revised offer which you are free to refuse — the piece will then be returned to you at our expense, with insured shipping. Étape 6 — Payment: bank transfer within 72 hours of validation. Documents: assignment agreement, shipping label, proof of transfer. The piece then becomes our property and we alone assume its resale.
These pieces cannot be paid for online; the entire process is handled by Monogram. Step 1 — Contact Monogram and detailed presentation of the piece (additional photos, video or video conference). Step 2 — Identity verification, mandatory under our AML-CFT obligations. Step 3 — Pro forma invoice then secured bank transfer. Step 4 — After effective receipt of funds, final authentication and preparation. Step 5 — Delivery: either shipment by a specialised valuables carrier, insured for the full amount and delivered against signature with ID check, or hand delivery by appointment at our Parisian premises, against ID matching the name on the invoice. Documents: named invoice, certificate of authenticity, hand delivery report if applicable.
Step 1 — 10% deposit paid online: the piece's status changes to "Reserved" and it is immediately removed from sale. Step 2 — Agreed timeframe with Monogram to pay the balance (bank transfer, fund release). Step 3 — Collection of the balance: the order then switches to the standard process (Scenario 1 or Scenario 2 depending on whether the piece is with the consignor or already in our premises). The 10 to 14-day countdown starts from the balance payment, not from the reservation. The deposit is deducted from the final price and appears on the invoice.
Two situations. At our end, before dispatch: if the piece received from the consignor deviates from its listing, it will not be sent out. We will notify you within 24 hours; you choose between a negotiated price adjustment or cancellation with a full refund; the piece is returned to the consignor at our expense, and their payment is not triggered. At your end, after receipt: report the non-conformity within 48 hours to contact@monogramparis.com with clear photos of the piece, the defect, and the packaging. We will issue a prepaid and insured return label; the piece will return within 2 to 4 days, a counter-expertise will be conducted within a few business days, then either a return or a refund to the original payment method. Reminder: the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, as Monogram acts as an intermediary between private individuals.
Destinations covered: European Union (65 €), Switzerland, United Kingdom and Monaco (75 €); other countries assessed on a case-by-case basis. Step 1 — Process identical up to authentication. Step 2 — Document preparation: commercial invoice, customs declaration and, for jewellery and watches, detailed description with serial number. Step 3 — Shipment by international carrier, insured up to value and delivered against signature. Step 4 — Customs clearance: outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are payable by the recipient; an estimate is provided before dispatch. Step 5 — Delivery. Allow 10 to 14 days standard, with 1 to 3 additional days possible depending on local customs formalities. For any destination outside covered areas, please contact us: we arrange shipment on a case-by-case basis and, for high-value jewellery, watches and leather goods pieces, prefer personal delivery by appointment.
A prepaid and insured shipping label, generated by us with Colissimo or DHL depending on value and destination: it bears our receiving address, the declared insured value (maximum available insurance level), a tracking number that we monitor, and the prepaid weight. You do not advance any costs and have no steps to take at an agency other than dropping off the parcel. Keep your proof of deposit: it acts as a release of your liability as soon as the carrier takes charge.

Returns & compliance

Monogram acts as an intermediary between private individuals: we do not own the pieces, and therefore the 14-day right of withdrawal, reserved for sales from professionals to consumers, does not apply. However, if the item received does not conform to the listing (unreported defect, error in model, size, colour, or condition), the case will be examined: detailed photos submitted within 48 hours of receipt, contradictory expert assessment, then return and refund. As each piece is unique, no standard exchange is possible: the solution always involves a return with a full refund.
Please email contact@monogramparis.com within 48 hours of receipt, including clear photos of the piece from various angles, the identified defect, and the packaging. Retain all received items; they are essential for processing the claim. Our expert team will contact you promptly with a solution.
Acknowledgement of receipt is immediate, and processing generally takes a few business days, allowing time for the piece to be returned and re-examined. In cases of confirmed non-conformity, a refund is processed swiftly after counter-expertise, to the original payment method.
No. As each piece is unique and belongs to a consignor, we do not offer standard exchanges. Only cases of confirmed non-conformity qualify for a return. If you no longer wish to keep your piece, you are welcome to re-consign it with us.

Sell & consignment

These are two distinct formulas. CONSIGNMENT: you remain the owner of the piece, which stays with you for the entire duration of the sale. We start with your photos, which we retouch and optimise, then we publish the listing on monogramparis.com, on our partner channels and, potentially, on our social networks. You only dispatch the piece once the buyer is confirmed and payment collected. You receive the sale price minus our fees (30 % without subscription, 25 % Carte Blanche, 22 % Carte Or, 15 % Carte Noire). This is the most lucrative formula, but it requires patience. OUTRIGHT PURCHASE: we buy the piece directly from you. You are paid immediately after authentication, without waiting for a buyer, and the piece becomes our property: we alone bear the resale risk. The proposed amount is lower than the net you would receive via consignment, in return for certainty and speed. Outright purchase is not offered on all pieces: it depends on the model, its condition and market demand.
Choose outright purchase if you require immediate liquidity, prefer no uncertainty regarding timelines, or if the piece has limited market demand. Opt for consignment if you aim to maximise your earnings, are not in a hurry, and if the model is highly sought after (Hermès Birkin and Kelly, Chanel Classic, Rolex sport, iconic Cartier). Monogram will systematically provide you with figures for both scenarios — net outright purchase on one side, estimated net consignment on the other — before you decide. You may also start with consignment and switch to an outright purchase later, should it be offered.
A piece is declared sold only once we have successfully received funds from the buyer and the transaction is definitively confirmed — payment received, uncontested, outside relevant banking retraction periods, and anti-fraud and compliance checks validated. As long as funds are not secured in our accounts, no sale is announced to you, and you are never asked to ship your piece. This rule protects you: you only part with your item once the sale is truly complete. Only at this point do we send you the pre-paid and insured shipping label.
Yes. Once we have notified you of the sale, the funds have already been received, and payment for your piece is guaranteed by Monogram: you are not exposed to the risk of buyer non-payment, payment default, or a banking dispute on the buyer's side — we handle all such matters. Your bank transfer is initiated within 72 hours of the piece's authentication being validated upon receipt at our premises. The sole condition is that the received piece must be authentic and conform to your declaration.
Only after the sale, never before. We will email you a pre-paid and insured shipping label (Colissimo or DHL): you will incur no costs. Pack the piece with its original accessories (box, dust bag, invoice, certificate, case, links) in a neutral, rigid box, affix the label, drop off the parcel, and retain proof of postage. We will confirm receipt, proceed with authentication and compliance checks, then re-ship the piece to the buyer under our responsibility. Your payment will follow within 72 hours.
We use the photos you provide upon consignment: our team crops, isolates, and harmonises the lighting to the Maison's standards, without ever concealing a defect — signs of wear remain visible and are described. The listing is then published on monogramparis.com, on our partner distribution channels and, potentially, on our social media to broaden its reach. If your photos are insufficient, Monogram will guide you in taking new ones; for exceptional pieces, a studio photoshoot can be arranged after receipt.
Selling fees are a maximum of 30%, and they are progressively reduced based on the subscription tier: 30% without a subscription, 25% with Carte Blanche, 22% with Carte Or, and 15% with Carte Noire. In other words, the higher your card tier, the greater your net proceeds, with no long-term commitment. These fees cover expertise, authentication, photography, online listing, distribution, customer relations, secure payment, and insured shipping. No deposit or estimation fees are charged.
Authentic leather goods, watches, and jewellery from major houses, ranging from new to good condition. We do not accept counterfeits, overly damaged pieces, or items with no resale value. Monogram reserves the right to refuse a piece that does not meet its selection and listing criteria: general condition, conformity, model desirability, or absence of essential components. This refusal is not definitive for your relationship with us: we will explain the reason and can re-advise you. If in doubt, simply send some photos: estimation is free and without obligation.
Yes. Each request undergoes review by our experts. If the piece does not meet our listing criteria — excessively worn condition, extensive restoration, authenticity concerns, a model with no market demand, or missing accessories/documents for a piece that requires them — we may decline to list it. We will inform you with a clear explanation. If the piece has already been shipped to us, it will be returned to you at our expense, via insured delivery.
Complete the form in the 'Sell' tab: brand, model, size, colour, and photos are mandatory. Our experts will assess the piece within 24 to 48 business hours, you will receive a price proposal, then a consignment mandate to sign electronically before shipping. Everything is tracked via your client account.
No. Under consignment, the piece remains with you, in your possession, throughout the listing period. We use your own photos, which our team retouches and optimises to the Maison's standards, then we publish the listing on monogramparis.com, on our partner distribution channels, and potentially on our social media. You only ship the piece once the buyer is confirmed.
Once the sale is finalised, we will send you a prepaid and insured shipping label (Colissimo or DHL): you won't incur any costs. Pack the item with its original accessories in a plain, rigid box, then drop off the parcel. Upon receipt, our experts will carry out a full authentication, and then we will forward the item to the buyer under our responsibility.
In consignment, the item only leaves your home after it's sold: you send it to us with our prepaid label, we authenticate it upon receipt, then we forward it to the buyer. Payment is made within 72 hours of authentication validation, by bank transfer to the account provided in your client area. You will receive a detailed invoice showing the total price including VAT, selling fees, and the net amount for the consignor.
Yes, for certain highly sought-after items, we offer outright purchase: you are paid immediately after authentication, without waiting for a buyer. The amount is generally lower than that obtained through consignment, which remains the most lucrative option but requires patience. Important: outright purchase is not systematic. If you request it and the item is not suitable – a model with low demand, condition, seasonality, or too significant a cash immobilisation – we will then only send you a consignment proposal. You are, of course, free to accept or decline.
The price is determined with you, based on real comparable sales, the rarity of the model, the colour, the material, the vintage, the condition, and the presence of original accessories. You validate the price before it goes online and can revise it at any time with Monogram.
It depends on the model: iconic and well-valued items often sell in a few days, while others take several weeks. Monogram will suggest price adjustments or enhanced visibility if interest remains low after a few weeks of exposure.
You can adjust the price with Monogram, opt for an outright purchase when offered, or request the return of the item at any time: it will be sent back to you via insured delivery. Consignment is never binding.
Yes. Your client area displays the status of each consignment – received, authenticated, published, sold, paid – with associated documents (mandate, shipping label, invoice). An email will notify you as soon as your item goes online, and at each stage until payment is made.

Monogram Privé Subscriptions

Carte Blanche: reduced selling fees at 25%. Carte Or: selling fees at 22% and priority wishlist for new arrivals. Carte Noire: selling fees at 15%, access to OffMarket items, and dedicated concierge for both sourcing and resale. All cards provide access to the same level of expertise and authentication service.
No. All cards are non-binding and can be cancelled at any time from your client area, in just a few clicks. Benefits remain active until the end of the period already paid for; no additional payment will be taken after cancellation.
From the very first consignment, the reduction in selling fees generally more than covers the cost of the subscription. Example: on an item sold for €3,000, going from 30% to 22% represents a saving of €240; on €10,000, the difference reaches €800. Monogram can calculate the most advantageous scenario with you before subscription.
Yes, activation is instant upon subscription: reduced selling fees apply to all items published from that moment. Items already published retain the conditions in effect at the time of their initial listing.
Yes, at any time from your client area. Upgrading to a higher card takes effect immediately; downgrading to a lower card applies to the next period.

Invoicing & taxation

Yes. A single invoice, bearing an identical invoice number for both buyer and consignor, is issued for each transaction and available for PDF download from your client area, with no time limit.
The total gross price, MONOGRAM's gross and net sales fees, the corresponding VAT, and the net amount payable to the consignor, all expressed as positive figures. Monogram is listed as an agent — a transparent intermediary within the meaning of article 289 A of the CGI — with its full legal information (SAS, capital, RCS, VAT number).
Second-hand goods fall under the margin scheme for VAT (article 297 A of the CGI). VAT is only due on our sales fees, never on the total price of the piece. It is therefore not recoverable on the item itself.
The occasional sale of a personal item by an individual is generally not taxable below legal thresholds, but certain sales (precious metals, jewellery, high-value objects) may be subject to specific taxation. We do not provide tax advice: please consult your usual tax advisor or the tax authorities for your personal situation.
Yes. Please provide your company name and intra-community VAT number when placing your order or to Monogram, so that the invoice can be issued in your company's name.

Account & privacy

An account facilitates order tracking, purchase history, access to invoices, favourites, and personalised search alerts. It also saves you from re-entering your details each time you request an offer or callback. Creation is free and takes less than a minute.
Your access is protected by an encrypted password and optional two-factor authentication, which we highly recommend. Your bank details never pass through our servers: they are processed by our PCI-DSS certified payment providers. Access to your internal data is strictly compartmentalised.
Yes, directly from your customer account, in a few clicks. Deletion is permanent and erases your personal data; legal documents related to past transactions (invoices, mandates) are retained for the period required by accounting and tax law.
Your data is used solely to process your orders, consignments, offers, and alerts. It is never sold to third parties. In accordance with the GDPR, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, portability, and deletion by writing to contact@monogramparis.com.
