The formats dominating the season
The underlying trend has remained the same for three seasons: intermediate formats, wearable both on the shoulder and by hand, are concentrating demand. The Birkin 25 and Kelly 25 from Hermès, the Timeless Medium from Chanel, and the Lady Dior Medium from Dior are the most requested references by our clients.
Conversely, very large formats are negotiated with a more significant discount on the pre-owned market, unless they feature a rare leather or sought-after hardware.
Sought-after colours and materials
Neutrals — étoupe, gris tourterelle, black, gold — remain the most liquid assets: they sell quickly and lose little value. Seasonal colours, however, perform well only when they correspond to an identifiable short series.
Regarding materials, Togo and Epsom concentrate demand in Hermès leather goods, while quilted lambskin remains the benchmark for the Timeless.
