Every piece that joins Monogram Paris follows the same protocol in our Paris workshops: no catalogue photography, no supplier imagery, only shots of the actual item.

• Saddle stitching: regularity, angle and tension of the waxed linen thread
• Heat stamp: depth, typeface and placement consistent with the archives
• Hardware weighed and examined under a loupe (crisp engraving, original plating)
• Zip, pull, lining and feet: original parts, or replacements disclosed
• Entrupy analysis followed by a second expert review before listing

Care and storage

• Keep the piece stuffed inside its dustbag, away from direct light
• Avoid water, perfume and light leathers against new denim
• Feed the leather once or twice a year with a balm suited to the hide
